SUMMARY OF POSTER PRESENTATION
For poster presentation, I had been
grouped with Khairul Nizzam. We had been given the short story Key Locks and
Open Doors. We have one month to complete the poster. It is actually not an
easy job as both of us always busy doing other things. Yet, we manage to
complete the task.
From the short story, we need to choose
one of the best scenes to put on the poster. So, we agree to choose the scene
at the ending of the story which is the scene where “I” waited in the room with
the sisters and unlocked all doors and windows to solve the mystery of haunted
voice that “I” heard every night. We choose the scene because we think that the
scene is the climax of the story and we can describe lots of thing about it.
For the poster design and layouts, we do it together. We firstly plan what to
do with the poster. Then, we bought all the things needed and started working
on it. At first, it is quite lousy and our poster is nearly like the others,
with the two doors on the poster that can be open. I am not sure if they
copying us but I can guarantee that we are not copying them. Maybe it is
coincidence. For the content, we separate into two parts, where each one of us
will complete one part. We also get help from Syazwan Afiq to be our artist for
the central picture of the poster. Then, for the presentation, we had plan to
have a gimmick of short drama at the beginning of our presentation and a
gimmick of the haunted voice at the end of the presentation. It is fortunate
that all of it were successful according to the plan.
Our group is the 13th
group presented in the class which means the second last that present. We
presented on 6th December 2012, Thursday during the night class.
