Illiteracy Among Children Around The Globe.
By the report of Education Department for year 2011, 6% to 8% of childrens in Malaysia have illiteracy problem and about 17% of childrens in the world have this problem especially at African region.Illiteracy means the child not know to read,write and calculate.The causes of this problem is lack of awareness in the communities,lack of education exposure from the goverment and because of war on certain places.
The first reason of this problem are the communities are not have awareness to this problem.All peoplet hink this problem is just a small problem and only small number of children are having it.But it is not true because when your minded is like that then the children will think that illiteracy is not important and them never try hard to imorove their condition.
The children facing illiteracy problem because they are lack of education. Children who live in the remote areas usually do not know what are happening in around the world because they only practice housekeeping and chores of every day life. Next, the low number of schools in this rural areas and if there is any, it is very far from their residence. Thus, the their parents do not send their children to school because they do not realize how important the education is to their children.
The nation conflict is one of the causes illiteracy among children around the globe. A conflict can happened in many ways but the most crucial one is an armed conflict in one nation which high probably due to political issues. This conflict in other word war brings not only destruction, also on society involving the children. The conflict aftermath are deeply terrible thus, its influence in every aspect and one of it is in education. For example, children in Palestinian camps across Lebanon showed that despite some improvement, 13 percent of youths have stunted growth and half of all secondary school age kids are not receiving education.
As a conclusion I hope the illiteracy problem can be solve and the public awareness will be higher,education exposure from the goverment will increase and the education also will come to the rural and effected area because of war.
