CAUSE AND EFFECT
Based on the report that had been published
by the Ministry of Education on 2009,that around 2530 children in Malaysia face
a very serious problem that is illiteracy. According to collin’s dictionary,
illiteracy mean that people who cannot read, write and comprehence. The source
illteration among children are lack of education, lack of parents attention and
influent by the environment.
Firstly, children become Illteration because
they are lack of education in them. A lot of them, do not get enough education
because of their parents do not have enough money to support their education,so
when their become adult they forget to learn to write, or read because they are
busy with their life. Besides , children
do not know how important that they must learn to read and write because they are not be told that how important to
learn this basic skill, so they think that this skill are not important and
waste of time. Children who stay in the jungle that are very far from the
school also the reason why this children do not have enough education because
it will be difficult for them to travel to the town and in the jungle there are
no one who can teach them how to read or write. Thus, children get less
education because their parents does not have money to support their education,
children also do not know how important to read or write and because children
who stay in the jungle, because it is hard for them to find the school and
people who want to teach them to.
Besides , illteration among children also
come from the lack of parents attention because parents who have big company or
important duties they become so busy until they cannot take care their own
children and do not have enough time to check , if their children can read or write.
Moreover ,if there are some inner issues in the family that involve their
parents this will make their parents take less attention towards their children
in order to solve the problems. Children also will take less attention about
this skill because their parents do not stress this basic skill to them because
they are bust with their life. Children how stay away from their parents and
stay with their grandparents also one of the reasons why children become
illteration because their parents do not know how is the condition of their
children and some of the grandparents also do not know how to read or write
this will make the children to take less stress about this. To sum up,
illteration among children, came from
lack of parents attention because they are so busy with their job,parents have
inner issues to solve and the children stay away from their parents and stay
with their grandparents.
In addition, illteration among children
also come from influent by the environment. Children who stay in the jungle
they have to do a lot of things in order to get food, so they do not have
enough time to learn and read and write are less important in the jungle.
Children who friends with other people
who also do not know how to read or write will influent the children to become
like them,in the early age of people like the children, they like to follow
their friends action than follow their own parents because in their early age
they are more close with their friends than their parents. Environment where
there is war,children will not have to time
to learn this basic skill because they are more focus on how to save
their life and they will think that this basic skill are not important at all
because at that time they will not use a lot of this skill to survive. Therefore,
influent by the environment like the children who stay in the jungle,influent
by their friends and maybe there is a war occur around them that make the
children to become illteration.
The conclusion, children get lack of
education in their early age, lack of parents attention towards them and the
children are influent by the environment are the reasons why children become
illteration.
