Illiteracy among Children around the Globe

Have you ever met any illiterate among children nowadays? Based on the report that has been made before, illiteracy can be defines as the inability to write, read and understanding among the children all around the world. The following paragraphs will discuss on causes, effects and ways to overcome illiteracy among the children around the globe.

Firstly, the main cause towards this illiteracy is socially problems. This is clearly can be seeing at the countryside, which leak of social facilities especially school. When the number of school is little, the children will face a lot of problem because not enough places for them to study. For example, Africa has large number of illiteracy among the children due to facilities. They do not have any good facilities to study effectively. This makes their education become not efficient and the students themselves will not have any interest in this sort of things. It will cause the number of illiteracy among the children increase drastically.

Next, the effect of the illiteracy among the children is the development of that particular country will be effected. It will give a negative impact to the nation’s ability to develop their country. When the number of illiteracy increases, the global economy also may face a problem. New scopes of career and technology will become narrower. The country itself cannot produce it own professional worker such as doctor and engineer that are very important for their development of country. Illiteracy also can affect the communication system between each person. In short, illiteracy does not provide us any benefits at all especially in our daily life.

Then, the ways to solve this problem before becoming worst is the government itself should make many campaign of the illiteracy. By doing campaign, we can plant the responsible and concern feeling among the people especially parents. As we already know, parent who is responsible to provide their own children with education. This campaign also can give a clear image on what are the disadvantages of the illiteracy among the children. Besides that, we also should provide some donation not just in terms of money but also the books. This can help any parents with financial problem to provide some earlier education for their own children in the future.

As the conclusion, the main cause of illiteracy is due to social problem that effect the development and the future of the young generation. The way to solve this problem is by making any valuable campaign that can be a good medium for sharing any important information regarding illiteracy itself.
