Research on Laptop

            A research was conducted on 22^nd November 2012 on the Group 23 at Lecture Room 5. The respondents consist of 9 females and 18 males with mixed races and one international student. All of them are Petroleum Geoscience student and have a good mixed ability and came from various part of Malaysia. The purpose of the research was to know how many of them open their laptop every day. The question is 'Do you open your laptop every day?'.  According to the answer given by the respondent, 5 respondents out of 27 said that they did not open it every day which are 3 males and 2 females. This means that 18.5% students from Group 23 did not open their laptops every day. The remaining 22 students which make up of 81.5% of the Group 23 did open their laptops every day. They consist of 15 males and 7 females. In my opinion, this is due to the need of laptop in order for them to complete their work and playing games to release the stress of study. However, some of the respondents thought the word ‘open’ in the question means like we open all the parts on the laptop. There is one respondent said that he didn’t open his laptops every day because he is using his friend’s laptop every day. To sum up, majority of the students from Group 23 do open their laptops every day.
