Illiteracy Among Children Around the Globe
Illiteracy among children around the globe has become one of the serious issue that has never ended. In fact, those experts from US estimate that about nearly 40 percent of the people from their country still did not achieve basic levels in reading proficiency. This shows that even though our world has become increasingly fast in technology, but those children are still in need of proper education. The following paragraph will elaborate on causes of this problem such as having an unhealthy self-image, low-income family problem and lack of interest in education.
First of all, those children who are having this problem are the children who are having an unhealthy self-image. This is because, the way they lead their life is different from us. They are not normal. They are human but the way they live their life is not the same compared to us. This has make them falling behind in terms of education. This is happen when those kids are not raised by parents but maybe animals. That will make them not to have a proper education and even worst, further from normal life as a human.
Secondly, having family problems are also causes that makes them having this illiteracy problem. Coming from a poor family, their parents just cannot make both ends meet for them. This problem has lead them to forget about their school life, and of course, their education. So, they cannot even have the chances to educate themselves.
Finally, lack of interest in education in children also has contribute to the significant raised in illiteracy problems. Nowadays, they are too lazy to educate themselves. They are living in a world full of technology that has make them did not think about their future. So, they take a shortcut and choose not to have a better education. Hence, the illiteracy problems raised.
In conclusion, there are many causes that lead to illiteracy problem such as having an unhealthy self-image, low-income family problem and lack of interest in education. So, the government need to take action immediately in order to save our future generation.
