             Illiteracy Among Students Around The Globe

      The most serious problem happens among children nowadays is the literacy problem that happen mostly in the low-income countries. According to Oxford English Dictionary, literacy brings the meaning of someone who cannot write, read and count It had been reported almost 20% children around this world who are unable to write and read in the past two decades. The following paragraph will explain more about the causes, effects and the ways to solve this problem.

       

          The main reason for this problem is the third world crisis. According to some resources, the countries which have the high rate of the literacy among the children are the countries that have critical problems in financial. This causes the lack of the education facilities in these countries. Hence, it affects the increase of rate of literacy among the children in the country.  One of the example is there is one place in Cambodia which has no table and chairs in their classrooms. Thus, it also affects the lack of interest in education among the children there.

       

         The effect of this problem is the country or the places where it have the high rate of literacy among their children will face a big problem in developing their country to become a well-developed country like Palestine, Malaysia and Indonesia. This is because the children are the ones who will develop and decide the future of their country to be a well-developed country. It also contribute the less production of the professional workers like petroleum geologists, petroleum engineer and hackers in their country.

           There are some relevant steps to solve this serious problem. One of them is the well-developed countries like United States, Russia and North Korea can play their roles by helping these non-developed countries raising many funds to be given to them. These funds can help these countries in improving their education facilities like schools and university in order to solve the problem of literacy among their children. Other than that, the other countries also can help by providing their volunteers like teachers, tutors and lecturers to teach the children who have the problem of literacy. These steps really can help them to decrease the rate of literacy among the children.

          As a conclusion, the problem of literacy is the serious problem to any country. One of the main reason is the lack of the facilities that causes the high rate of the literacy among the children. The development of the countries will be affected if this problem could not be solved. By raising the funds and providing the volunteers are the best solution in order to solve this problem.
