Have you ever been in a situation where you need to choose to trust yourself or someone that you love the most? Well, the best bet is to trust whom that you loved to make your choices. In the novel 'The Lady or The Tiger?', the young man really should have trust the princess to choose which door he should open because the princess loves him very much, she dare to go against the King and the princess wold still have chance to be with the young man.
First of all, the princess loves the young man very much even though she knows that the young man is just an ordinary man which is not even close compared to her. But, the princess knows her feeling very well and that's why she still choose to be with the guy that he loved. So she will never want to see the young man die or suffer in front of her own. So that's why the young man should trust the princess as the princess will do everything to see her loved one stay alive. Thus, if you really know the person loved you, then, you better trust him or her.
Secondly, both of them dare to betray the King and keep on having an affair with each other especially the Princess even they know that it is wrong to do so. In the story, we know that the princess is semi-barbaric, same as his father, the King but she just does not want to listen to his father and still keep on in love with the young man. This shows that she dare to betray even her own father just to be with the one that she loved. Well, women when it comes to love, will do whatever they can just to be with their man. So, the young man should really trust the Princess.
Finally, the young man knows that if he dies, the Princess will never be with him again. So, he should trust the Princess because they still have chance to be with each other even he have to marry the young maiden. hence the young man should trust the princess.
As a conclusion, the young man should really trust the princess because the princess loves him very much, she dare to go against the King and the princess wold still have chance to be with the young man.
