Do you agree if the young man follow the princess or his own instinct? I agree if the young man should follow the princess. Why? It is because of his loyalty, trust and love to the princess.
The young man is loyal to his relationship with the princess. He does not want to betray his lover since as the princess also is loyal to their love. This can be proven when the princess asked the guard about which of the door contain the lion and the lady. Futhermore, we cannot betray someone who loyal to us as it can make the relationship become loosen.
Besides, the young man also trusts his beloved princess so much. He knew instantly that the princess knew which door held the tiger and the lady, because he knew her personality so well. He trust her and she will safe him. In addition, in a relationship, when both sides are serious, this will create a trust feeling between both sides.
After that, the young man also is madly in love with the princess. So that's why he will follow her. Besides, although it is forbidden to have an affair with royal family, the young man still love the princess so that their love became a forbidden love which was labeled as a crime by the king. Although it is a freedom for each person to love someone but it can be a crime which harm ourself, when it is a love between a person from inferior blood and station with a princess from the royal blood and royal kingdom
As the conclusion, the young man should follow the princess which is his lover because of the loyalty, trust and love that he have given to her.
