ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

                                                  RIGHTFUL DECISION

 Do you think the wife in the Death by Scrabble should help his husband or not? In my opinion, she should just let her husband chocked to death. The wife should not help saving her husband because her husband wants to kill her, her husband hates her and her husband has bad attitude.

 In the short story the Death by Scrabble, the husband has an intention to kill his wife. This can be seen from the story when the husband hopes that his wife will die faster. His wife always plays killing word. Then, her husband plays word ZAP. This words results his wife to get an electrical shock while playing the scrabble. Besides that, when he realises that every words that he plays will be a reality, without any guilty feeling he plays the word EXPLODE and because of that the air conditioning system at their home explodes. So, by not helping her husband this it prevent her from get killed by her husband.

Secondly, the husband in the Death by Scrabble hate his wife. Her husband hate her because the wife loves to have a day sleep. Besides that, the wife also does not like to get out of the house during holiday even when the weather is really suitable to have a walk outside which make her husband hatred grows. Also, she does not like to make drink for her husband. That is why the wife should not help him because it is useless for us to help someone who hate us.

Lastly, the husband has a bad attitude. It is true that the husband has a bad attitude like he likes to chew the scrabble tile and he always hate his wife. However, the wife also has a very bad attitude too like she loves to sleep on daytime and does not like to have a walk outside the house, she should learn how to accept something bad in someone.

As a conclusion, it is right for the wife not to help her husband instead of letting him chocked to death as she has a very concrete reason to do so.
