ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY ^_^

Justified Decision by an Upset Wife.

Should the wife in this short story help her husband who is choking to death? As for me, she should not help her husband. This is because of hate, boredom, and failed relationship. 

The wife should not help her husband as her husband hates her so much. That means, there is no other reason for her to live with her husband anymore as she is hated by one and only, her husband. This can be shown when her husband wants her dead and always blames her for his unhappiness in life. He always thinks on how to kill his wife while playing the scrabble but the irony is when he is the one who dies at the end of the story. Thus, this is the perfect reason why she does not need to help her husband for all the undesired things made by her husband. 

Besides that, her husband feels very bored living with her throughout their marriage. He prefers to do something interesting such as climbing, exercising, spending money and meeting friends instead of staying at home with his wife. Sometimes, she also feels fed up with him as her husband does not play his role as a husband and only think about to fulfill his desires. So that she prefers to sleep all the time and ignore her husband. But, it is not obviously done by her as she will then treat her husband by playing a scrabble with him as it is what he wants. 

In addition, a failed relationship causes her to avoid herself from helping her husband who is choking to death. Along the game, they always feel suspicious with each other. As an example, during that game, she suspects her husband has cheated when she is making a cup of coffee for herself. Her suspicion causes her husband to hate her very much and makes their marriage getting worse. As in a real life, suspicion is not good for a married couple as it may bring to a serious strife. Therefore, there is no reason for her to help him as she does not want to save her marriage.

In conclusion, hate, boredom and failed relationship make the wife to do not help her husband who is facing death. She might feel much happier after his death as she can find her true lover and live happily ever after.
